About Kensington Community Learning Centre CIC

We offer the very best services in our field. We never settle for second best and always have your satisfaction as our top priority. It’s who we are and we are proud of it.

Who we are

We are a community interest company based in Liverpool. Kensington Community Learning Centre C.I.C.’s mission is “To provide quality training, support and volunteering opportunities to members of the local community in a safe and non-threatening environment that is conducive to learning.”

Our aim is to create a community hub where local people can come to learn, take part in creative and fun activities, work towards accredited qualifications, update their skills and experience, build their confidence and self esteem and eventually make themselves more employable.

More about our services

In addition to trying to build a sense of community locally, KCLC also provide low cost and affordable facilities and services to local people and businesses:
  • Room hire
  • Office services
  • Exam Invigilation
  • Handmade cards and other craft items
The income generated by these activities is ploughed back into the centre so that it doesn’t have to rely so heavily on funding from other sources.

It's so easy to support us!

Kensington Community Learning Centre is a non-profit organisation with all income generated ploughed back into the business for the benefit of the local community.

We do have a certain reliance on grant funding. If your organisation can help us deliver our services through a grant - we would be delighted to discuss this with you. We pride ourselves in capturing and reporting management information to enable us to report back to our funders detailing how their investment has had an impact on the community.

We rely heavily on the services of volunteers, and would really like to offer opportunities to reward these dedicated volunteers with employment opprtunities. If you are able to sponsor a full or part time job - again we'd love to hear from you.

We also love to partner with local businesses. There are many advantages to working in partnership. If you feel as though your organisation can work in partnership with KCLC or would like to explore the possibility of partnership work - then please contact us via our contact form.

Finally, as our range of services continues to grow, we need more hands to deliver the services effectively (and the associated paperwork!). Whether your aim is to improve your employability prospects or simply to get a feel good factor by giving something back to your community - volunteering at the centre can be very rewarding.
