Digital skills

This 10 week course is aimed at those who need support to use various devices. We can help with using a mobile, computer, laptop or tablet.

Afternoon tea

To kick this course off, we are starting with an afternoon tea. Where learners will be able to come in, in an informal setting to get to know the centre and the staff and to find out more about the course while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, scones with cream and strawberries, sandwiches and selection of cakes. Learners will be shown a short presentation, be able to ask questions, discuss their needs and make sure the course is right for them.

Afternoon tea will be 1pm on November 29th.

10 weeks of learning

Learners will then be able to come in on a Wednesday afternoon to our IT suite to follow, at their own pace, an individualised learning plan suited to their needs. Tablets, laptops, phones and PC's will be available for learners to test and try out their new skills. Learners are also able to bring in their own devices to learn on. Tea and coffee will be available during the sessions.

Free tablet/phone

Learners will be given a free tablet or phone and some data upon the completion of the course so they are able to continue using their new found skills!
