We all had a wonderful (and busy, after a slow start) day on Tuesday, with around 60 people coming into Get More Out of Life Online. Lots of new faces in the centre and some familiar ones too!. Raffle tickets were given out here there and everywhere for every new thing they tried, with a massive hamper, courtesy of Kensington Supermarket and a women's pamper pack as prizes. The winner will be announced after Get Online Week has finished.

We introduced people to the fabulous Learn My Way site, and other online resources that can be used to learn about computers, technology and the internet. We also helped people practice and improve their English online, Helped and supported people use their own devices, talked about online security, in the afternoon we got everyone into teams to play a Kahoot quiz all about technology made by one of our volunteers.  Health, Saving money, and security around banking and shopping online were, as usual, topics that many people wanted to know and learn more about.

Since then the campaign has grown into a week-long, annual celebration, with thousands of events taking place each year in communities across the UK, giving everyone the chance to find the help they need to improve their digital skills.
